Statement I love the challenges of watercolor! I aim for brilliant, clear and transparent hues with a strong composition. I am a native of California, and have been painting in watercolor for almost 30 years. After having chosen to take a little time off to raise a family, I returned to watercolor about 9 years ago with a renewed dedication and purpose. Much of my inspiration comes from the natural world and everyday scenes that surround my home and community. By painting everyday scenes, florals and landscapes, I hope people will see the same fascinating details of the world around that I do. I have received numerous awards for my paintings. I have exhibited with the California Watercolor Association, the National Watercolor Society, the Santa Clara Valley Watercolor Society, and am a signature member of the National Watercolor Society.
